The Plot
3512 CE is the year, and nothing grows on the surface.  Orange dust covers once prosperous fields.  Not animal nor plant can be seen amongst the wastes, as all life has fled to cities miles below.  War still continues, and as technology become more and more advanced, more and more people begin to fear the potential apocalypse which would ultimately be caused by the hundreds of million-dollar and billion-dollar companies fighting for control over the underground cities.

Large communities thrive together under tyrannical rule, healthy but not happy.  Minor and major offenses are punished by exile to the surface, and the laws have become unjust.

You, and a small group of fellow citizens, have become part of what is known as 'The Rebel Factions'.  You have joined the revolution in East Australia, and have in turned been punished.

What your goal is and how you achieve it is up to you.  Just remember; not all companies are anti-rebel, and similarly, not all surface-dwellers are pro-rebel.

Nickname: Black Death (it’s a reference to a polish sniper)

Bio / History: An elite sniper for the Russians with over 300 confirmed kills. Tired of fighting a never ending war he seeks a way out of the blood shed even if it means leaving everything behind.

Nickname: Architect, Archy, Winter.

Date of birth: 4th July, 3494 CE

Nationality: Malaysian/Aboriginal Australian.

Appearance: WIP (Red mid-length hair, Green and Blue eyes (One eye is green, the other is blue), standard features.)

Apparel: Also WIP

Fighting style: Rogue-like, mostly dirty fighting.

Combat style: Evasive

Weapons: Custom Built Dual Flintlocks, 2 Curved Daggers.

Equipment: Tool-Belt with a variety of non-battery operated tools. Bandolier of pouches with a variety of ammo for his Flintlocks (Corrosive, Explosive, Incendiary, Electric). Variety of traps in a backpack he carries everywhere, as well as a few small explosives. Mechanical Wristband that allows him to digistruct* a levitating robot that attacks random enemies, and a variety of other items.

Personality: Eccentric, Shy, Sarcastic.

Bio / History: Klo has always enjoyed tinkering, finding that he was a natural at it, though his siblings were not so fond of it. He would often play harmless pranks on them, always getting a laugh at how angry they got.

Unfortunately, they got a bit too angry, and framed him for murder. With 5 supposed witnesses to the crime, Klo never stood a chance. He was soon sentenced to exile.

In a last ditch effort, Klo joined the Archaic Movement. He currently takes the role of an independent inventor, attempting to improve his digistructing device so that the time duration is longer, if not permanent. He also supplies explosives and ammo to the other members.

(*Digistructing is the art of making a physical object out of a digital database, sadly all digistructed items are temporary, lasting no more than 30 seconds, depending on what was made. Digistructing is also limited, so only one object can be constructed at a time. In order to upload something up to the database, someone must have the object in question scanned by the database. This can take up to a month depending on the size of said object. Changing an already existing object requires the database to 'download' the object so the user may add or remove changes, thus requiring the user to reupload the object into the database.)

Bio / History:
A somewhat well renowned Japanese porn-star, inventor and tech-head, Yumi Yamatou comes from a long line of famous vigilantes who fought alongside many allied companies and foreign rebel factions in the ongoing wars.

Yumi's life in Australia started in 3505, when she moved to Archorliatt (AKA: 'Neo-Sydney'), where she later reinvented the once popular 'SOAP shoes' from many centuries ago, this time with a more modern twist.  Said invention would later become what is now dubbed, 'JP-SOAPS'.

For several years, she would continue to live a life of fame, inventing more and more simple yet superb devices and tools, such as the 'Electro-tool' and the 'JP-AAS' hover board.  But all of this suddenly ended when she was caught training with the rebel factions.

A trio of rebels emerges from below the surface, escorted away from the city by four heavily armored guards.

"This is what rebel scum like you get," one of them says, "This is what you get for aiding in a city's destruction."
"If you guys've got any idea where you are right now," another guard begins, "You'll all start moving, ASAP."

The guards walk back to the city and leave the rebels on their own.  The sun slowly rises over the horizon.

Yumi walks ahead of the others and starts looking around her.

"That's right," she begins, "Neo-Sydney is in Government territory.  If we're spotted out here, our chances of survival are pretty much gone.  And seeing as it's morning, we need to find the closest border, quick.  But how...?"

"well walking generally helps" John said sarcastically, then unslung his sniper and cocked it.

Klo was much more interested in the condition of his daggers than what the others were saying.

"I wonder what would happen if I were to add a Chronostasis effect to them..." He mumbled to himself.

Yumi laughed at John's joke, and proceeded to walk away from the sun.

"I guess you're right, she said, some laughter still slipping out here and there, "Let's just head this way then. Hopefully we might get lucky and find some shelter or something."

John trudged on behind yumi, his eyes constantly scouring the dull sands. The dust that glided along with the gentle breeze was like an old forgotten friend, he'd seen it many times before but it had grown dull and cold over the years.

Yumi walks onward, occasionally looking back at the others.

"So, what'd y'all do to get kicked, hm?"

[Danika]

"I was framed for murder because my siblings didn't like the pranks I pulled on them." Klo said, "The usual."

"Charged me with desertion." John replied. he then thought about the life he left behind. It didn't bring sadness or happiness just a dull grim acceptance.

Yumi continues, unzipping her jacket as she walks.

"Shit," she says sympathetically, "I just got booted for joining the rebel forces."

She turns back to the others, walking backwards as she introduces herself.

"The name's Yumi, but you can call me 'Bow'. Or 'Shorty'. Both are fine."

john looked briefly at yumi. "..."

"hi I'm Donte please to meet you" as he looks at yumi

Yumi jumps and let's out a small yelp as Donte introduces himself.

"Invisible ethereal skydaddy dammit! Where'd you come from?"

"I have been here this entire time whiting for someone to pass sorry for not saying anything" Donte replies

John flicked out his pistol and cocked it faster than a whip it with a butt full of dynamite and held it an inch away from Dontes head.
"You're lucky I didn't pull the trigger."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you because I'm a nice guy I sware" Donte replied
